Happy Gilmore 2 Release Date: Adam Sandler’s Sequel Coming to Netflix July 25, 2025

The newest development on the forthcoming film “Happy Gilmore 2” was the known release date. But now we have a new detail.

The sequel to Adam Sander’s 1996 comedy will be available on Netflix on Friday, July 25, 2025.

Sandler will return as the film’s main character, and Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald will reprise their roles as Virginia Venit, a PGA Tour publicist who becomes in love with Happy, and the arrogant professional golfer Shooter McGavin, respectively.

A great number of golfers proed Schneider and played on cameos include Scottie Scheffler Rory McIlroy Justin Thomas Keegan Bradley Rickie Fowler Tony Finau Collin Morikawa Xander Schauffele Jordan Spieth and Will Zalatoris all from the PGA Tour. Alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka from LIV, professional golfers have plastered the film with cameos. Trevino John Daly Lee Nicklaus will be further adding to the story. Truly wonderful.

McDonald teased the film during his visit a month ago while surprising everyone during the press conference held before the WM Phoenix Open with Justin Thomas.

“It’s got so much heart and so much humor that it’s going to, I think new generations are going to eat it up because it’s a rare and beautiful thing, and Netflix went above and beyond at making it the best,” he McDonald said. “It’s going to be very surprisingly funny.”
